 IOGEAR has released a portable media player that is a little different to the conventional definition of portable. IOGEAR's Portable Media Player does not come with any screens or batteries or even any ability to use on the run. Despite this the gadget would be considered quite useful in a lot of circumstances. It gives the user the ability to copy media files onto the hard drive sized device and then plug this into any television.The device supports the following video codecs; AVI, DivX, XviD, MP3, MPEG-2. These are the most common storage formats for most media junkies and this device makes it that one bit easier to take you favourite shows to friends houses and to watch when traveling.
